I like this :). However, you could consider more realistic textures and translucency for petals.

thank you, i will try to do it better, but I think is not so bad to be one of first renders :), I'm using 3ds max for this.

Yes, well I use the version 6, I found that my PC is not ready yet for the last version (Max 9 / 1 GB recommended RAM, but you really need about 4GB to get it render faster :( ), what program do you use?

You can get a 30 days trial version of 3ds max 9 on discreet home page, or you can ge it by some undeground ways (but ways are recomended only if you're not gonna use it for comercial purpose, just for personal training). Not every one has the $3,495 for the license.

I used Blender :) For modelling only, though. For rendering I used Yafray/Kerkythea, depending on my mood. If I'm lazy, I'll use Yafray, cuz yafray to Blender interface is akin to MentalRay to 3DS Max Interface :D. However, Kerkythea is much much faster at photon mapping, and has newer technologies like Metropolis Light Transport and Bidirectional Path Tracing.

Is nice to know that, but however, some people says, the tool not necesary made the artist ;) .
